We want to explore and break the boundaries in online learning. Students will be able to download tutorials to their computers and upload them directly to their ipods, mp3 players etc. The website will be packed with a vast array of resources and inspirational material for design and media students. I was responsible for the design of branding, interface, print material and teaser campaign. It was a huge task and involved designs for posters, brochures, flyers and a promo video to run at the launch. After Effects was employed for the production of the promo, with final editing in Final Cut Pro. InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator were used for all print material, while Dreamweaver for implementation of the website. film/signage/press advertisements Blackshaw at 80 is an exhibition of 40 works chosen by the Artist created over the course of his career, and can be viewed at the F.E. McWilliam Gallery & Studio between May and October 2012. The 80 page hard-backed book was the biggest of the books I've designed for the Gallery, and being a fan of Blackshaw's work made it possibly the most enjoyable. The fantastic mix of styles in the exhibition makes for a beautiful catalogue, which was a pleasure to design, and in honesty, it would have been difficult to mess this one up given the works contained. The opening of the exhibition was a great success and so I took the opportunity to shoot a short piece that I hope will reflect some of the atmosphere on the evening. One of the reasons for the lack of updates has been because of a new focus and passion in getting a new business venture off the ground. I will be collaborating with Paula O'Hara Photography under the new name of Story of Eve. We are currently finalising the website and branding, so be sure to check back here for a link! This was Story of Eve's first creative shoot and we couldn't have asked for a more patient couple to work with. Johnny and Stacy were so natural in front of the camera, and you would never guess how cold it was by looking at them.
